Validity Period is an artistic photo project focusing on the issues of overproduction and the disposable society (21 photos). The co-author is a Ukrainian photographer Roman Butym.
The project was implemented in 2021 in Kraków. For three months, we visited local waste collection points. Found objects were used to build installations that convey the atmosphere of domestic life.
The shooting process often turned into a performance. Random passersby stopped, approached to talk, took photos, and laughed. Sometimes, they even threatened to call the police. However, most of the time, they pretended not to notice anything.
